Sketch Club

“This show is mesmerizing… flashes of true brilliance” TIME OUT

Sketch Club originally ran weekly on the London Fringe from 2002 to 2007 and was a much-loved part of the live comedy circuit. Hosted first by Andrew Barclay and then by Brian Luff, notable performers included Channel 4’s Cardinal Burns, Perrier Award winner Laura Solon, Pappy’s Fun Club, award-winning double act Colin and Fergus, BBC presenter Rick Edwards and 8 Out of 10 Cats regular Joe Wilkinson.

The gig returned to London’s Downstairs at the Kings Head from 2013 to 2015. During that time the show was a competition, with the best character performers, double acts or sketch teams from 6 heats being invited to compete in a grand final at the Gilded Balloon in Edinburgh.
