Sketch Club

“This show is mesmerizing… flashes of true brilliance”

Sketch Club originally ran weekly on the London Fringe from 2002 to 2007 and was a much-loved part of the live comedy circuit. Regularly hosted by Brian Luff, notable performers included E4’s Cardinal Burns, Perrier Award winner Laura Solon, Pappy’s Fun Club, award-winning double act Colin and Fergus, BBC presenter Rick Edwards and 8 Out of 10 Cats regular Joe Wilkinson.

The gig returned to London’s Downstairs at the Kings Head from 2013 to 2015. During that time the show was a competition, with the best character performers, double acts or sketch teams from 6 heats being invited to compete in a grand final at the Gilded Balloon in Edinburgh.
